McFly Concert Tickets

McFly are an English pop rock band, consisting of Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter, and Harry Judd, that formed in 2003. The McFly band had a quick rise to fame, thanks to the help of fellow band Busted, who invited them on their 2004 tour. McFly, named after the character Marty McFly in the movie Back to the Future, have a sound similar to One Direction, Justin Bieber and All Time Low with very upbeat and catchy melodies. McFly’s debut album Room on the 3rd Floor, featuring singles such as "Obviously" and "That Girl", was a smash hit and topped the UK album charts at No 1 in 2004 and is certified as double platinum. These accomplishments caused McFly to earn the Guinness World Records award for being the youngest band to ever have an album debut at No. 1, a title which previously belonged to the Beatles. These distinctions caused McFly tickets to be in high demand for their first headline tour in September of 2004. McFly’s popularity continued with the anticipated release of their second album Wonderland in 2005, featuring the single "All About You/You’ve Got a Friend" which was recorded with the help of a 60-piece orchestra. "All About You/You’ve Got a Friend" reached No. 1 in March 2005, and McFly donated all of the profits to the charity Comic Relief.

McFly continued their charitable appearances by co-headlining Live 8 Japan with singer Bjork and band Good Charlotte. McFly tickets for their major Wonderland Arena Tour as well as the 2005 Royal Variety Performance were highly sought after. With McFly’s high level of success in the UK, the band turned their attention to American audiences in 2006. McFly appeared in the Lindsay Lohan movie "Just My Luck" and also contributed three songs to the movie soundtrack. Shortly after McFly tickets went on sale for tours in Los Angeles and New York. McFly released their first single of 2006 with the song "Please, Please" which became the official song of Sport Relief 2006. McFly released their third album, Motion in the Ocean in November of 2006 which included singles such as "Star Girl", and "Sorry’s Not Good Enough/Friday Night". "Friday Night" was later featured in the movie Night at the Museum. McFly went on to release tickets for their 2006 Motion in the Ocean tour and their 2007 McFly Up Close and Personal tour. After these tours, McFly released an compilation album in 2007 followed by their fourth studio album Radio: Active in 2008, which contained singles "One for the Radio" ,"Lies", and "Do Ya/ Stay With Me". McFly tickets then sold for their sixth worldwide arena tour in 2008 in which they were accompanied by bands Avenue, and Reemer. That same June, McFly made a guest appearance at a Jonas Brothers concert in England. In 2010, McFly released their fifth studio album called Above the Noise which included their single and video "Party Girl," which was voted number 1 at the 4music Video Honours as well as the single "Shine a Light" which featured fellow singer/songwriter Taio Cruz. Currently, McFly tickets have been confirmed for their next tour date from March – April of 2013. McFly also confirmed that a new album would be released in the summer of 2013 and could feature such artists as James Bourne and Matt Willis.

In addition to McFly’s appearances and music use in films such as "Just My Luck" and "Night at the Museum", McFly has appeared as comic relief in the show Top Gear and have made a cameo appearance as themselves on the science fiction series Doctor Who. Other notable achievements for the band included, Harry Judd, drummer for McFly, being asked to carry the Olympic torch as part of the 2012 London Olympic Torch Relay Run as well being featured and winning the ninth series of Strictly Come Dancing .Also, Dougie Poynter was featured on and won the eleventh series of the show "I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here". McFly also appeared on the celebrity edition of Deal or No Deal in which they won over $10,000 for various charities.
