Lotus Tickets

Formed at Goshen College in 1999, Lotus is making a huge impression on audiences with their perfect blend of electronica and jam music, a style they've aptly named jamtronica. Having cited Talking Heads, Brian Eno, Beck, Air and Broken Social Scene as their influences, Lotus tickets certaintly guarantee a show of expertly-mixed sounds.

Speaking of shows, this band is well known for putting on some energetic Lotus concerts emphasizing lighting and improv. In true jam band fashion, amateur sound engineers have been known to record full Lotus shows and post them online. The band has also extensively toured the festival ciruit with fests like Jam on the River, Wakarusa, Rothbury Music Festival, All Good Festival, Outside Lands, Camp Bisco, Ultra and Bonnaroo under their belts. Lotus tours have touched international soil with multiple visits to Japan.

Lotus concerts have been known to adopt various themes ranging from dead rock stars to robot-themes and covers from Ziggy Stardust to The Grateful Dead. Guitarist Mike Rempel, bassist Jesse Miller, drummmer Mike Greenfield and keyboardist Luke Miller are huge fans of video games and often inject some videogame-themed music into their sets on Lotus tours.

Since 2002, Lotus has released nine albums, two of which are live shows. Their most recent, self-titled album released in 2011 received high ratings from their most loyal followers.
