For years, the Los Angeles Clippers played second fiddle to the Los Angeles Lakers as the team in Los Angeles. Now the tides have turned, and the Clippers, led by Blake Griffin and Chris Paul, are one of the best teams in the Western Conference! The Clippers have never put a better team on the floor, and fans should make sure to get out to the Staples Center to watch the Clippers try to bring home their first-ever NBA title! Don't wait -- check out the Clippers' schedule and buy your Clippers tickets at Ticket Liquidator today!

Founded in 1970 as the Buffalo Braves, the Clippers have called three different cities home -- Buffalo, San Diego and Los Angeles. The Clippers moved from Buffalo to San Diego in 1978, and then moved from San Diego to Los Angeles in 1984. For over two decades, any success the Clippers had paled in comparison to the Lakers -- but the Clippers' fortunes have changed in recent years, largely thanks to Blake Griffin.

Clippers general manager Gary Sacks took over in 2012, and built the contending Clippers around Griffin, Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan. Sacks was able to pry head coach Doc Rivers away from the Boston Celtics prior to the 2013-14 season beginning. Ever since, expectations have been sky-high in Los Angeles, and for once, because of the Clippers -- not the Lakers.

The Clippers aren't short on rivals -- despite being seen as the lesser team in Los Angeles for years. The Clippers' main rival is naturally, their fellow Staples Center tenants, the Los Angeles Lakers. There are fewer tickets more valuable in Los Angeles than Clippers-Lakers tickets -- so don't wait, and head out to the Staples Center this season to see the two teams battle for Los Angeles supremacy!

With an exciting young team, the Clippers should be in contention for years to come! Be there to watch Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan and Doc Rivers -- get your Clippers tickets at Ticket Liquidator today!

Los Angeles Sports

The Clippers have moved up the echelon of Los Angeles sports -- but they're not alone. The Los Angeles Dodgers are once again a World Series contender, and boast some of the best players in the game with Clayton Kershaw and Hanley Ramirez. Mike Trout and the Los Angeles Angels also have World Series aspirations, and Angel Stadium is a great place to catch a game. The USC Trojans are one of college football's elite programs -- and with good recruiting classes on the way, the Trojans should be a major factor once again! Los Angeles has turned into a hockey hotbed as well, with the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks being two of the best teams in the NHL! And of course, there's still Kobe Bryant and the Lakers! You can't go wrong no matter what sports event you see in the City of Angels!
