Limp Bizkit Tickets

At a time when reunions seem to be hotter than fire, an inferno has engulfed the music world as Limp Bizkit reunites in 2009- this is real ya'll! Whether you consider them nu-metal, rapcore, alternative metal or funk metal- this quintet is unique and they're back!

Limp Bizkit began back in Jacksonville, FL when Fred Durst, a tattoo artist, met bassist Sam Rivers and drummer John Otto in 1994. Guitarist Wes Borland joined the crew after the release of their first demo- "Metal Aquaducts." Limp Bizkit concerts soon became popular around the Jacksonville area, but it was a fateful meeting with Korn that would send them straight into the mainstream. Durst played a show with the band and had the privilege of tattooing bassist Reginal Arvizu (aka Fieldy). When Durst threw Korn a demo tape revamped by Wes with songs that would be featured on "Three Dollar Bill Yall$," they got the exposure they needed.

In a small turn of events, Limp Bizkit, resigned to sign onto Mojo records, chose a much smaller label, Flip records - they eventually joined with Interscope to produce their first album - "Three Dollar Bill, Yall$". Although the album didn't do well on Billboard 200, Limp Bizkit's tour schedule that kept fans coming back for more. Limp Bizkit tickets were a big attraction as Limp Bizkit toured on Warped Tour, the Family Values Tour and Ozzfest. It was their remake of George Michael's "Faith," that gave Limp Bizkit mainstream attention.

Limp Bizkit's second release "Significant Other" would finally find fans scramblnig for Limp Bizkit tickets on their own headlining tour- thier biggest hit was "Nookie." However, it was after this release that Limp Bizkit would experience a stream of controversy that brought them negative media attention- but we still love them. Over a year later, "Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water" was released and certified 6x multi-platinum; hits "Take a Look Around" and "My Way" were featured on the Mission Impossible 2 soundtrack and WWE WrestleMania X-Seven opening theme respectively. After another string of controversies, Wes Borland Decided to leave the band in 2001, after he worked on the track "Relax" , a Frankie Goes to Hollywood Cover, for the Zoolander feature film.

After Wes Borland's departure, Limp Bizkit held a contest for a new guitarist, eventually picking Snot's guitarist Mike Smith instead. "Results May Vary" was released in 2003 and is considered their lowest grossing Limp Bizkit album to date - the album went platinum 5 years after the fact.

Rumors began circulating in 2004 that Wes Borland had re-joined the band; thos rumors were confirmed when pictures on Limp Bizkit's official site were released. Churning out a 7-track EP, "The Unquestionable Truth," in 2005 and a "Greatest Hitz" album that very same year, it appeared as though Limp Bizkit was making a comeback and a Limp Bizkit tour would soon ensue. However, Borland, once again, took leave and the band went on hiatus.

All of that disappointment can be left the dust, because Limp Bizkit is indeed alive and well and back in the studio, and guess who's joining the crew- Wes Borland of course! Limp Bizkit released this statement on their blog - "We decided we were more disgusted and bored with the state of heavy popular music than we were with each other. Regardless of where our separate paths have taken us, we recognize there is a powerful and unique energy with this particular group of people we have not found anywhere else. This is why Limp Bizkit is back."
