The Ticket Liquidator Lowdown
  • Ticket Liquidator is a resale marketplace, not a ticket seller. Prices are set by third-party sellers and may be above or below face value.

    close

Ticket Liquidator is a nationwide network through which professional companies and trusted individuals resell tickets to events. This means that we don't charge your card, nor do we own, price, or ship the tickets listed for sale on our marketplace. The tickets are owned instead by hundreds of sellers who re-price their tickets based on the popularity of the event and the number of tickets available.
  • All seats are together unless stated otherwise.

    close

We understand that people often attend events with friends or family and want to be located near the ones they love. Therefore, although seat numbers are not listed, we guarantee that tickets purchased through Ticket Liquidator will be together unless explicitly stated otherwise (e.g. the seller advertises the tickets as being "piggybacked" or "split") or the tickets are General Admission.
  • Tickets are not guaranteed to ship immediately.

    close

The sellers who list tickets on our marketplace access tickets from a variety of sources - venues, fan clubs, event promoters, industry insiders, and even other ticket resellers. Some sellers may have to wait to receive tickets from their supplier due to ticket printing or distribution delays. Please note, though, that delayed delivery does not change the fact that you are guaranteed to receive your tickets by the date of the event once your order is accepted by the seller. Sellers also do their best to advertise expected delivery delays on their listings in order to help you make an informed purchase decision.
  • All sales are final.

    close

Tickets are time-sensitive items. Prices rise and fall over time and their value expires following the event date. This means that sellers would be taking a risk by allowing customers to return tickets that might never be resold or otherwise resold for the same value as what you paid. The ticketing industry has therefore adopted an “all sales are final” policy that disallows ticket return. If, however, you find yourself unable or unwilling to use your tickets, you can always check out our consumer seller program.

Review
"...the only way I can describe how this performance made me feel is that I now understand how people can sit in a theatre or even in their own home, put on opera music, and weep. The emotions come partly from the heart-wrenching lyrics and literary context, but equally from the beauty of the music and the virtuosity of the singers." Read the full review >>

Plot Synopsis

Les Miserables opens in 1815 in a prison in Toulon, France, where Jean Valjean has been doing hard labor for 19 years, his sentence for stealing a loaf of bread to feed his family and attempting to flee the authorities. The policeman Javert finally releases Valjean on parole, but he must bear a yellow ticket-of-leave, labeling him as an ex-convict and subjecting him to the scorn of the rest of society. Once free, Valjean meets the Bishop of Digne, who gives him food and shelter. When Valjean steals from the bishop and is apprehended by police, the bishop lies to save him and help him make a new life for himself. Inspired by the bishop's mercy, Valjean follows his advice and throws down the yellow ticket, breaking his parole.

Eight years later, Valjean has assumed a new identity as Monsieur Madeleine and has amassed a fortune as a factory owner and mayor of the town of Montreuil-sur-Mer. One day, it is discovered that of the factory's female workers, Fantine, has been sending money to her illegitimate child, who is living with an innkeeper and his wife. Although Valjean tries to resolve the issue amicably, Fantine is eventually dismissed. Alone and desperate for money, she sells her possessions and becomes a prostitute. Meanwhile, Javert comes to the village, continuing his search for the fugitive Valjean, and though he tricks him into revealing himself, Valjean evades him once again. Later, upon the plea of Fantine, whose ruination he feels responsibility for, Valjean finds her daughter, Cosette, who is abused by the despicable innkeepers, the Thenardiers. He pays them to take her away and once again flees to find a new life.

Nine years later, there is severe social unrest in Paris because the last government official who has shown kindness to the poor is on his deathbed. The idealistic students of the area plan to lead a revolt; meanwhile, the Thenardiers are looking for any opportunity to loot and steal while their daughter, Eponine, and Cosette fall in love with the same man, the student Marius. What is to become of the downtrodden poor of Paris? Will Cosette ever find true happiness? Can Valjean ever escape his past and build a new life for himself? Don't wait any longer to get Les Miserables tickets and find out how this touching and awe-inspiring story concludes.
