Kristin Chenoweth captured Broadway fans' hearts as the original Glinda in the wildly successful musical Wicked. Her performance as the superficial, popular witch was funny and touching, and she has made a mark in history with her superb vocal performance in the role.

Before Wicked, Kristin won a Tony Award for her portrayal of Sally in the 1999 revival of the musical You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. Her performance of the song "My New Philosophy" shows her comic chops along with her vocal skill. Other Broadway roles include Steel Pier, The Apple Tree, and the 2010 revival of Promises, Promises opposite Sean Hayes of Will & Grace. In May 2004, Kristin played the role of Cunegonde (a role originated by the great Barbara Cook) in the New York Philharmonic production of Candide opposite Patti LuPone. Kristin has certainly conquered Broadway, but she has also been quite successful on television, earning an Emmy Award for her role of Olive Snook on the series Pushing Daisies and earning acclaim for her performance as Annabeth Schott on The West Wing. She was also nominated for Emmy Awards in 2010 and 2011 for her recurring guest role of April Rhodes on the hit Fox show Glee. She went on to star in the ABC show GCB (formerly Good Christian Bitches and Good Christian Belles), which debuted in March of 2012.

Kristin's movie credits include the role of Marian Paroo in the TV movie The Music Man (2003), opposite Matthew Broderick, and Lily St. Regis in the TV movie Annie (1999), opposite Victor Garber, Kathy Bates, Alan Cumming, and Audra McDonald. She has also appeared in Bewitched, Running With Scissors, Stranger Than Fiction, and Four Christmases opposite Reese Witherspoon. Younger fans might be interest to know that she has also provided the voice of Rosetta, a fairy in the Tinker Bell franchise.
