Tifton, Georgia native Kip Moore has respectively earned a place for himself in country music. Initially in pursuit of basketball and golf throughout college, Kip Moore left sports behind and turned to music after graduating, finding that singing and songwriting are where his passions lie.
Growing up, Kip Moore had an ear for music and learned the basics of guitar while in high school, but dedicated most of his time towards golf and basketball. After spending some time in sports, Kip Moore began to explore singing and songwriting during his time in Hawaii following college. Kip Moore made the life changing decision to relocate to Music City to give Nashville a shot. For a few years, Moore landed small performances wherever he could and eventually grabbed the attention of Universal Music Group Nashville. Kip Moore landed a deal with MCA Nashville and later released his debut album, Up All Night, in 2012. The album was a hit, with its track "Hey Pretty Girl" landing at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. As a result, Kip Moore was nominated for New Artist of the Year.
