Get your tickets for the Juno Awards and see the best and brightest in the Canadian music industry gather together to recognize outstanding achievements each year. Juno Awards tickets are a special opportunity to see the biggest stars in the Canadian music industry all in one place. The awards were first called the Gold Leaf Awards, and officially began in 1970. They were renamed the following year in honor of Pierre Juneau, the first head of the Canadian Radio-Television Commission.

The Juno Awards grew from RPM Magazines annual polling of readers to determine the year’s best artists. The winners were published in the magazines December issue each year. Then in 1970 a record label owner named Stan Klees came to RPM with the idea for an awards ceremony to honor the winners, and ever since Juno Awards tickets have been super-hot in Canada. For the first three years the ceremony followed the magazines announcements, until 1874 when the names of the winners were first announced at the ceremony and then printed in the magazine. Some of the biggest names in the industry have hosted the Juno Awards, including Drake, Russell Peters, who hosted twice, Nelly Furtado, Alanis Morissette, Shania Twain, The Barenaked Ladies and many more. It's a great time and Juno Awards tickets are some of the hottest in all of Canada.

The original Juno Award trophy was designed by Klees. It was made of wood and shaped like a metronome, a device musicians use to keep a steady tempo when rehearsing songs. After five years the material the trophies were made from was changed to acrylic. In 2000 the statue was redesigned by an artist named Shirley Elford and features a glass human figure with a metallic spiral around it that looks like a music staff. In 2010 Elford was diagnosed with cancer and had to stop producing the trophies, but her design will live on as a laser engraving inside a transparent block.
