It only looks like Jerrod Niemann has been on the scene for a few years but his presence in country music spans this past decade and includes co-writing credits on three Garth Brooks singles and two independent albums before the release of his major label debut Judge Jerrod & the Hung Jury and the hit single What Do You Want.

Niemann started practicing his craft much earlier than that, penning his first songs at age 8 and performing them at age 10 in his home state of Kansas and plying his trade at Texas bars and nightclubs.
