With hopes high in Jacksonville they are getting Jaguars tickets like crazy so far. The Jacksonville Jaguars are looking solid this year and should be in great shape to have a solid football season. With the Jags having a disappointing 2009 season that saw the team post a 7-9 record. The Jaguars are bringing back head coach Jack Del Rio to get this team to kick some butt. Quarterback David Garrard is going to be looking to improve on last year's performance, and you can count on Mike Sims-Walker to catch the balls a few times. And when Garrard isn't throwing, the Jacksonville has a few players who can run the ball. Long-time vet Maurice Jones-Drew is gone, but some other talented runners are here. Jones-Drew will be hoping to fill those big shoes and you know he is going to have some great moments. Jones-Drew has some explosive speed and is sure going to get a few first-downs this season. If you have Jags tickets you are going to see some really great plays. Torry Holt, formerly of the St Louis Rams, was the big sign of the off-season last year and he is going to be a great influence on this young receiver core. This is shaping up to be a very interesting season for football so don't pass up those Jaguars tickets because there are going to be some really good times.

For 2006, the Jaguars were intent on improving the previous year's 12-4 record. In the 2006 NFL Draft, the Jaguars used their first pick on tight end Marcedes Lewis from UCLA football. They used their next pick on Maurice Jones-Drew, also from UCLA. The rest of their picks went on Oklahoma's Clint Ingram, Syracuse's James Wyche, Illinois State's Brent Hawkins, and Florida's Dee Webb. There may not have been quite as much happening at Jacksonville, trades wise, but they were a team who were ready for the rigors of the NFL schedule, and they wanted to bring a trophy back to Jacksonville Municipal Stadium.

The first game of the season was at home to Dallas Cowboys, and the Jaguars caused much joy in town when they defeated the Cowboys 24 to 17. Three different defensive players intercepted Cowboys quarterback Drew Bledsoe during the game, the crowd went into overdrive, and demand for Jacksonville Jaguars tickets was suddenly very high. The following week the Jags played at home again, this time against Pittsburgh Steelers. The Jaguars managed a total shut out, beating the Steelers 9 to 0. It was the first time the Steelers had been shut out since 1985, and they barely made it across the midfield. The following week, the Jags traveled to Indianapolis, to face the mighty Colts, and predictably were beaten. The score was 21 to 14. The Jaguars next game was at Washington Redskins, where they were behind by a couple of points at the game's death, and after an over-enthusiastic goal celebration following a fumble recovery they were ordered out of the end zone and had to settle for the 30-30 tie via a field goal. Week five was an awesome result for the Jacksonville men, as they hammered New York Jets 41 to 0, but the next week they were beaten by the Houston Texans 27 to 7. They won their next two, but were then beaten by the Texans again, before defeating the New York Giants 26 to 10 in week 11. Jacksonville won 2 of their final 6 games, and a last gasp attempt to make the playoffs at Kansas City Chiefs was denied them, as they went down 35 to 30. The season was over for the Jags, but it had been a heck of a ride, and tickets to Jacksonville Jaguars games were cherished by those who'd been present at the more dramatic confrontations at Municipal Stadium. It was a season that illustrated perfectly the drama and excitement of the magical NFL for Jaguars fans.
