Depending on the BCS Rankings, it could be the winner of the Big Ten Championship Game that takes the field in Tempe against whoever wins the Big 12 Championship. The winner of the Insight Bowl is awarded the Insight Bowl Trophy (a football with sort of a swirly tail) as well as a $1,200,000 cash prize, not to mention a great story for anyone that bought game tickets! The game was been known as the Insight Bowl since 2002. Previously it has been known as the Insight.com Bowl and before that the Copper Bowl. The Insight Bowl is aligned with the Big Ten and the Big 12, meaning that teams from that conference get first shot at participating in the game.
