Indiana Pacers Ready for the NBA Playoffs! |
Pacers Aim for NBA Glory!! As among the best teams in the NBA right now the Indiana Pacers need your help if they are going to make the Eastern Conference Finals. This is a team hungry for a title and with the size to hang with anyone they are as tough as they come. You gotta get your tickets for the Bankers Life Fieldhouse so that you can be there for all the action. The team needs you in the stands making nose, so don't waste a minute and get your tickets before its too late. Guard Paul George and forward David West have become bona fide stars and Pacer fans believe they can get it done. George Hill has been solid all year, and with Danny Granger and Roy Hibbert doing their thing, the Pacers have one of the best teams in basketball. Be there to see just how far the Pacers can go in the 2013 playoffs and get your tickets before its too late! Indian Pacers coach Frank Vogel had his interim tag removed last season, and for good reason. After leading the Pacers to the playoffs in 2011 for their first time since 2006, the Pacers fought tooth-and-nail with the number one seed Chicago Bulls and turned a lot of heads in the process. Expectations were high last season, and after making Vogel the coach while removing his temporary status, the Pacers clinched the third seed in the playoffs, led by leading-scorer Danny Granger. After dispatching of the Orlando Magic in the first round, the Pacers would face their toughest test in a hard-fought series with the eventual champion Miami Heat. Despite leading the series 2-1, the Pacers ended up falling to the Heat in 6 games. As they enter the 2012-2013 season, expectations are sky-high for this Pacers team, who sat behind only the Heat and the Bulls last season in the standings. With Derrick Rose out for an extended amount of time, the Pacers are gunning for one of the top seeds in the Conference which they hope to snatch from the Bulls. Indiana is a great basketball city (Hoosiers anyone?) so make sure you buy your Pacers tickets soon and head out to the Conceso Fieldhouse to cheer these Indiana Pacers on! The Indiana Pacers recently got some very bad news but also have some good news. The bad news is that their leading scorer, forward Danny Granger, injured his knee and is out indefinitely. The good news is that the Pacers are one of the deepest and most talented team in the Eastern Conference, so other players will have a chance to step up, and they should be even stronger once Granger returns. Of course Danny Granger is the undisputed leader of this team, and a nightmare matchup for opposing teams, but one player who is going to have to step up in his absence certainly has the broad shoulders to bear some additional scoring duties. Seven-footer Roy Hibbert is one of the top centers in all of basketball, and has only begun to scratch the surface of his offensive prowess. Coming off an excellent season, Hibbert will be expected to up his scoring in Granger's absence, and has already had a strong preseason. But he won't be alone; every starter on this well-rounded Pacers team has the ability to explode for 20+ points on any given night. Small forward Paul George is emerging as one of the most well-rounded forwards in the Eastern Conference, with ball-hawking defensive ability and a smooth offensive game. His defense on league MVP Derrick Rose in the 2011 NBA playoffs was a large reason that the Pacers hung tough against the number one seeded Bulls that year. Power forward David West is a former all-star and a powerful inside presence as well as consistent shooter who can drain a 12-18 foot jumper in his sleep. West is also certain to pick up some of the scoring duties in the absence of Granger. Tyler Hansborough, the former standout at North Carolina, is a solid player who consistently fills up the stat sheet and does everything well. George Hill was acquired last season from the San Antonio Spurs on draft night, and he has proven to be a valuable commodity at point guard and is an excellent defender. With all this talent, you can bet Indiana Pacers tickets will be in high demand this season, so make you check out Ticket Liquidator's wide selection and get yours soon! While the Pacers team was already one of the most well-rounded and deep teams in all of the NBA last season, they added some new talent to make their team even better. Electric point guard D.J. Augustin brings an explosive scoring element to the backcourt, and he can dish and swish with the best of them - it's hard to believe he's only 24, it seems like he's been in the league for a minute. Gerald Green also came over in the offseason, and he gives them some additional depth at shooting guard. These additions should help stem the tide of Granger's recent injury, but it's going to be tough to match the success of last season. The Pacers are up for the challenge though, and one of the teams standing in their way is the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons have some talented young players to complement Rodney Stuckey, and are looking to make it to the playoffs and challenge the Pacers within the Eastern Conference. Another rival who is looking to knock the Pacers down a peg is the New York Knicks. The Knicks and Pacers have had some epic battles over the years, and who can forget Reggie Miller's Madison Square Garden heroics? The rivalry has been rekindled as the Knicks are looking to leapfrog the Pacers in the Eastern Conference standings, but the Pacers aren't planning on letting the Knicks take their spot and have their sights set on an even higher seed. Will the Pacers retain their perch near the top of the Eastern Conference this season despite the injury to Granger? If they do, they'll need your help, so grab some Indiana Pacers tickets and get out to the Conseco Field House to join the roar of the crowd as they cheer the Indiana Pacers to victory! The Pacers play home games at Conseco Fieldhouse, noted for being the first "retro" facility in the NBA. It first opened in 1999 and cost $183 million to construct. If is a great place to enjoy a Pacers basketball game, so be sure to get your Indiana Pacers Basketball tickets today. Indiana Pacers sports info:
