Plot Synopsis:Good People follows Margie, a poor single mother living in a rundown apartment in Southie, a rundown neighborhood in Boston. Margie struggles to take care of her disabled adult daughter after she loses yet another job and faces eviction. A friend has suggested that she re-connect with an old flame to find out how he managed to escape the cycle of poverty and become a successful doctor. Their reunion, 30 years later, resurfaces resentments and memories that have silently plagued both for decades.
