Detroit Pistons Tickets

Led by budding star Rodney Stuckey at guard, the Detroit Pistons enter the 2012 season with their sights set on a playoff berth in the Eastern Conference. Coach Lawrence Frank is ready to navigate the team through the tough upper echelons of the East, and he is thrilled to have rookie Andre Drummond to help out on the inside. While Stuckey has established himself as a rising star in the backcourt, Drummond, fresh from the University of Connecticut and the tutelage of legendary coach Jim Calhoun, is ready to stand along former Olympian and veteran Tayshaun Prince in a much-improved interior. While the Pistons lost SG Ben Gordon in the offseason via trade, they added veteran Corey Maggette and have a nice mix of experienced veterans and talented rookies on this roster. Kyle Singler, the former Duke Blue Devil at SF, is said to be much-improved this season and Sports Illustrated recently named former Georgetown Center Greg Monroe as having a potential breakout season. This Pistons team is locked and loaded for a monster 2012-2013 season, and even the players themselves are talking about the playoffs. Ticket Liquidator has a wide selection of tickets available for Pistons games on the 2012-2013 schedule, so make sure you get your Detroit Pistons tickets soon to catch these Pistons live at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Coach Lawrence Frank has a variety of weapons to deploy during this season in pursuit of a playoff berth, beyond the emerging star Rodney Stuckey. Point guard Brandon Knight should provide additional depth behind Stuckey, and fresh out of Kentucky, Knight is a proven leader with a tenacity on the defensive end as well as sharp vision and pinpoint passes on the offensive end. Jason Maxiell is a force in the paint at power forward, and should clog up the middle against the upper echelon of the Eastern Conference. The Eastern Conference is no walk-in-the-park, so the Pistons have to bring their A game night in and night out. The rivalry between the Pistons and the Chicago Bulls has cooled since the Bad Boy days of Chuck Daley's boys taking on Jordan, Pippen and the Bulls, but this rivalry is heating up again as the Bulls have led the Eastern Conference and the Atlantic DIvision over the last two years. Detroit is fully aware that the road to the playoffs goes through D. Rose and the Bulls, so you can bet that they'll be looking to knock Chicago from the top of the Division. Another inter-divisional foe that will be fighting Detroit for a playoff spot is the Indiana Pacers. The Pistons will have to slow down the Pacers attack and leap over them in the standings in order to make it to the postseason, so when these two rivals square off it will have an added meaning. The Pistons seem to be coming together at the right time, with Stuckey emerging as a legitimate number one scorer, and Drummond and Monroe teaming up in the middle, so buy your Detroit Piston tickets now and be there in the crowd at the Palace of Auburn Hills as they cheer their team to victory!
