The Denver Broncos have been playing in their Mile High Stadium (now called INVESCO Field at Mile High) for almost 50 years, and it would be a fitting half-centenary if they were to make the playoffs or even the Super Bowl this year. Head coach Mike Shanahan was entering his 13th year hoping not to make it an unlucky one. The Broncos unfortunately seemed to herald Shanahan's statistic as just that, as they entered what was a pretty poor NFL season, by any standards.

Game one was a slim 15-14 victory over the Bills, with Broncos Bills tickets selling well, along with Broncos Raiders tickets, Broncos Jaguars tickets, and Broncos Colts tickets, in readiness for the next few weeks. The Broncos beat the Raiders, but went down 23-14 to the Jaguars - a portent of a very rocky NFL schedule, no pun intended.

Week 5 saw the Chargers hammered 41-3 by the Chargers (Broncos Chargers tickets always giving some high scorelines, it seems) in a game that saw kicker Jason Elam score a 30-yard field goal in the second quarter, their only points of the game.

Broncos Steelers tickets understandably went great guns, as the Steelers were strong and going for a shot at the Super Bowl, but the Broncos beat them 31-28. Broncos Packers tickets were next and the Green Bay side beat the Denver team 19-13 in a game where quarterback Brett Favre made a 79-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver James Jones for the Packers. Broncos Lions tickets saw the Detroit outfit crush the Broncos 44-7, and only quarterback Patrick Ramsey's 2-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Brandon Stokely saved the blushes of the Broncos.

Broncos Chiefs tickets are a Midwest feast of football, and there are usually some good battles taking place in the middle of the field. Jason Elam kicked a magnificent 50-yard field goal for the Broncos in the second quarter in a 27-11 win in last season's clash. Broncos Titans tickets and Broncos Bears tickets were also selling well, and the Broncos defeated the Titans 34-20, but were beaten 37-34 by the Chicago Bears, another team that has seen some Super Bowl action this past few years.

The Broncos battled on and beat the Chiefs 41-7, while Broncos Texans tickets took Broncos fans into an intraconference 31-13 defeat to the Texans.
