2014 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Schedule

The Chick-fil-A Kickoff is back in 2014 with two games -- both taking place at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The Ole Miss Rebels will square off against the Boise State Broncos on Thursday, Aug. 28. This season, there's a second game at the Georgia Dome -- and it comes on Saturday, Aug. 30, when the Alabama Crimson Tide take on the West Virginia Mountaineers!

Boise State has been a perennial Cinderella ever since the Broncos knocked off the Oklahoma Sooners in the Fiesta Bowl back in 2007, 43-42. The Broncos finished a disappointing 8-5 last season, but will try to get back to their winning ways in 2014.

Like Boise State, Ole Miss went 8-5 -- but went 8-5 in the ever-difficult SEC. The Rebels' 8 wins were the most since 2009, when Ole Miss won 9 games and the Cotton Bowl. Last sesaon, the Rebels defeated Georgia Tech. The Rebels will try to take the next step and compete for the SEC title this season -- and they'll be on prime time as they kick off the 2014 season against the Broncos!

Perennial national title contender Alabama will take the field at the Georgia Dome Saturday, Aug. 30, to take on the West Virginia Mountaineers in the second Chick-fil-A Kickoff game. Alabama lost in the Iron Bowl against Auburn the last week of the regular season, after Auburn returned a last-second field goal as time expired for a touchdown, winning the game and eventually the SEC, before advancing to the BCS title game.

The loss ended Alabama's quest for a three-peat, but the Crimson Tide still ended up in ta BCS bowl game. However, Alabama fell to Oklahoma, 45-31.

Now in 2014, Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide have their sights set on another national title.

West Virginia will try to thwart Alabama's title hopes from the get-go in 2014. The Mountaineers had a down year in 2013, finishing just 4-8 -- and 2-7 in the Big 12, West Virginia's second year in the Big 12.

A win over Alabama would set West Virginia up for the Mountaineers' best year since 2011, when West Virginia won the Orange Bowl.

Be there at the Georgia Dome when the season kicks off with the Chick-fil-A Kickoff!
