Cheyenne Frontier Days Information |
The “Daddy of ‘Em All”, the Cheyenne Frontier Days are a celebration of rodeo sports and western culture. With nightly concerts by music groups, comedy acts, Wild West shows, a Native American village, and a full rodeo, Cheyenne Frontier Days tickets are always exciting. Held annually in Cheyenne, Wyoming since 1897, the event is one of the largest and longest running of its type in the world! With so much going on, Cheyenne Frontier Days tickets are some of the hottest in the area and its always a good time. Cheyenne Frontier Days usually last about 10 days in the last weeks of July. The main event is the rodeo, held in Frontier Park. Popular events include calf roping, bronc riding and bull riding, as well as barrel racing and steer wrestling. The “Frontier Nights” include concerts featuring big names in country, rock and other music genres. Some of the biggest include Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow, Charlie Daniels Band, and Motley Crew. Another attraction is the carnival midway where all your favorite exciting rides and entertaining games can be found. It’s not just for the kids either. At the far end is the Buckin-A Saloon where you can enjoy live music and hit the dance floor. For those looking for a more educational experience, there is the Old West Museum. In addition to keeping the history of the old west and the Cheyenne Frontier Days the museum also houses the CFD Hall of Fame. There are also two villages to explore when you buy tickets for Frontier Days. The Indian Village features cultural demonstrations, artisans, and food vendors. There are musicians, dancers, and storytellers as well as crafts for children. Wild Horse Gulch is an old western town featuring artisans, craftspeople and merchants that all make you feel like you have taken a step back in time. You might even meet some historical characters like Wyatt Earp and Buffalo Bill wandering the streets! All this and more is on hand when you buy Cheyenne Frontier day tickets for the rodeo, music and everything else! |
