Original King of Comedy Alumnus is going back on tour and Cedric the Entertainer tickets are going fast. The host of “It’s Worth What?” has tickets to up-coming comedy shows across the country and TL is the best place to get those tickets. The man who would become Cedric the Entertainer was born Cedric Antonio Kyles in Jefferson City, Missouri. The son of a school teacher and railroad worker, he was raised in Missouri until moving to Massachusetts for high school. Cedric made his first TV debut on “It’s Showtime at the Apollo” and then appeared showcasing his stand-up talents on programs like HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam” and BET’s “ComicView.” Since those days his stature has grown and grown and Cedric the Entertainer comedy show tickets have grown with the comedian. Cedric was one of the Grand Prize Winners of the Miller Lite Comedy Search with fellow comedian Bernie Mac. In 1994, BET awarded him with the Richard Pryor Comic of the Year Award. In 1996, Cedric made his acting debut playing Steve Harvey’s friend in the sitcom “The Steve Harvey Show.” He has continued to act in various movies and lend his voice to multiple cartoons including the 2005 film “Madagascar.” In 2000, Cedric joined rejoined friends Harvey and Mac as well as fellow comedian D.L. Hughley for Spike Lee’s film, “The Original Kings of Comedy.” Most recently you can find Cedric in the 2011 movie “Larry Crowne” and on TV in the program “It’s Worth What?” |
