Barenaked Ladies Tickets

Barenaked Ladies, a Canadian alternative rock band was formed in 1988 by founding members Ed Robertson and Steven Page. The Band now comprises of Jim Creeggan, Kevin Heam, Ed Robertson and Tyler Stewart. "BNL" has sold more than 15 million records including albums and singles. If you are not a hardcore fan of the Barenaked Ladies, you probably know them from the theme to the hit sitcom ‘the Big Bang Theory.’ Barenaked Ladies have released 14 albums since they first started jamming and released their latest album Stop Us If You’ve Heard This One Before in 2012.

The Juno Award & Grammy Award nominees were well known for their light hearted comedic performance styles on stage and have been reportedly influenced by the comedy group ‘ Corky and the Juice pigs’. They have kept audiences entertained with humorous banter and improvised raps and songs. When you attend a Barenaked Ladies concert you will also likely hear them cover an unexpected hit from a genre totally outside their own.

Barenaked Ladies was formed with the coming together of Steven Page & Ed Robertson. The duo ran in to each other a couple of times before they started bonding and became friends. They then included Andy Creeggan, Tyler Stewart & Jim Creeggan in their band to play with them at various shows and their First tour. Soon the band gained popularity after winning the YTV Achievement awards.

The Barenaked ladies released their first album Gordon that went on to become a huge success in Canada. The band went on to release other albums in the following years: Maybe you should drive, Born On A Pirate Ship and Rock Spectacle, which garnered a lot of sales and success in Canada.

Stunt, the band’s fifth album, was their first huge US success, with hit single ‘One week’ reigning the charts. Besides Stunt, the band released Maroon, Everything to Everyone, Barenaked For The Holidays, Barenaked Ladies Are Me, Barenaked Ladies Are Men, Snacktime, All In Good Time and two compilations of their hits from the past 20 years. 20 years after the band came together for the first time, the band said Goodbye to their founding member Steven Page. The remaining band members went on to create many more albums and singles! The Barenaked Ladies are currently on tour before they release their next album – Stop Us If You’ve Heard This One Before.
