Atlanta Falcons 2013 NFC Playoffs Outlook

The last few seasons have seen the Atlanta Falcons make the playoffs only to exit in the first round, but Atlanta is determined to have a different outcome this season. Quarterback Matt Ryan has been one of the top quarterbacks in the entire NFL this season, and with weapons like emerging superstar Julio Jones lining up alongside sure-handed Roddy White and the ageless Tony Gonzalez, Ryan has no shortgage of options in one of the top passing attacks in the league. With the Falcons awaiting a Wildcard winner, they will be facing any one of four teams: The Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks or Washington Redskins. If the Falcons face off against the Vikings, they'll have to be wary of Adrian Peterson and the top running attack in the NFL. You can be certain that Falcons vs. Vikings playoff tickets will be a huge draw if the chips fall that way. It is more likely that the Green Bay Packers, who's loss to the Vikings in week 16 dropped them from the second seed in the NFC, will face the Falcons in the NFC Championship game if the Packers win two and the Falcons win their Divisional round game. Being the top seed in the NFC, the Falcons get the luxury of playing the lowest remaining seed after the Wildcard weekend. The two remaining teams, Seattle and Washington, are no walk in the park either as parity is the name of the game in this year's NFL playoffs.

If the Falcons face the Seattle Seahawks in their Divisional matchup, they get a small consolation by having homefield advantage and not having to travel to Seattle's homefield with the "12th man" roaring in their ears. They still get the unenviable task of squaring off against Marshawn "Beast Mode" Lynch and impressive rookie quarterback Russell Wilson. The Atlanta Falcons vs. Seattle Seahawks playoff matchup will be an exciting matchup chock full of superstars if it happens, and Ticket Liquidator will have a great selection of Falcons vs. Seahawks tickets. The final possibility for the Falcons Divisional matchup is a battle with another exciting rookie quarterback, RGIII and the Washington Redskins. Robert Griffin the third has been amazing this season, leading the Skins to the NFC East crown and a playoff berth after years of mediocrity. The Falcons will certainly have their hands full with RGIII, fellow rookie and second-leading rusher in the NFL Alfred Morris, and a potent offensive team including WR Pierre Garcon. The Falcons are ready for the challenge, and Redskins vs. Falcons playoff tickets will be flying off the shelves if these two teams meet in the ATL. One thing is certain: the Falcons have their sights set on not just winning the Divisional game on their homefield, but making a deep run through the NFC playoffs and making it to New Orleans for the 2013 Super Bowl! No matter how the 2013 NFL playoffs shake out, Ticket Liquidator will have all the Atlanta Falcons playoff tickets you need, whether for the Falcons Divisional game, the Falcons NFC Championship game, or even Atlanta Falcons Super Bowl tickets.

After the Atlanta Falcons suffered their first loss of the season to the New Orleans Saints the Falcons are still widely considered to be the best team in the NFL and tickets for Atlanta football are going fast. The Falcons have a great shot at the Super Bowl, especially if they are able to earn the NFC's #1 seed. The #1 seed would give the Falcon's home field advantage throughout the playoffs, and we all know the benefits the Falcons enjoy playing at the Georgia Dome. Matt "Matty Ice" Ryan has been among the best in the league, so look for him to keep it going. Michael Turner and Roddy White have been an integral part of the team's success. But Atlanta Falcon football is not out of the woods yet and they have some tough opponents still to play, including another shot at the division rival New Orleans Saints and the defending champion New York Giants. The Falcons vs New Orleans Saints game goes down in Week 13, Sunday, November 11 and you know Drew Brees will be ready for the Dirty Birds. You know the Falcons haven't forgotten about the Saints upset to end their undefeated streak, so expect the Falcons to get up for that game. Another big game for the Atlanta Falcons comes on Week 15, Sunday, December 16 when the Falcons take on New York Giants and Eli Manning in a battle between what could be two of the NFC's best teams. It won't be long before Atlanta Falcons playoff tickets are on sale, and you can count on Ticket Liquidator for those. Be there for all the action and get your tickets today!

After being one of the better teams in the NFL the past few seasons, the Atlanta Falcons are looking good and are ready to compete for the NFC South title and the Super Bowl. But they need you in the stands making some noise to make sure you do what it takes to get out to as many games as you can. After loosing in embarrassing fashion to the New York Giants on the Wild Card round of the playoffs the Atlanta Falcons are looking to make up for lost time. Matt Ryan, AKA Matty Ice, has the stuff to be an elite QB, and the Falcons need him to show his stuff. He's go a talented squad around him, so make sure you get out there and support Atlanta football.

With a knowledgeable Head Coach in Mike Smith a talented QB in Ryan and some potent offensive weapons, the Falcons are looking to edge out a tough field and come out on top of the NFC South. The Panthers have gotten a lot better, and the New Orleans Saints are always a threat. This will be a tough season, but the Falcons are up for it. Running back Michael Turner had some great runs last year and he'll be looking to keep it going in 2012. Wide-receiver Roddy White has shown he can score with the best of 'em, so expect him and Ryan to connect on a few passes this year. Julio Jones is another great player that gives the Dirty Birds a chance to win any game And on defense, Kroy Biermann is a great player the Falcons will definitely lean on this season. Be there to watch a roster full of very good players and score some Falcons tickets before its too late!

Some tough teams are waiting on the schedule for the Falcons, but in the NFC South that's business as usual. Looking largest on the conference schedule are the New Orleans Saints, who the Falcons play on weeks ten and 13. And in the Carolina Panthers, the Falcons find a much-improved team that is a dangerous as it is fast. Other highlights of the 2012 Atlanta football schedule include the Denver Broncos on week two, the Dallas Cowboys on week nine and a rematch with the New York Giants, who bounced the Falcons from the playoffs last season, on week 15. Certainly no shortage of games on the schedule, so make sure you get out there and see all the fun live!

Falcons history

The Falcons have been steadily improving since they were founded in 1966. They suffered early growing pains despite having several outstanding players on their books, such as running back Dave Hampton and quarterback Steve Bartkowski. By 1980, Atlanta won the Western Division, losing to the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the playoffs. The team regrouped and filled their squad with a group of talented players including wide receivers Michael Haynes and Andre Rison, as well as cornerback Deion "Prime Time" Sanders.

In 1998, a 14-2 record was good enough for an NFC title, and a time when Falcons playoffs tickets sold like crazy. The experience of running back Jamal Anderson, linebacker Cornelius Bennett, and kicker Morten Anderson helped guide the Falcons to the franchise's sole Super Bowl appearance, where they lost to the Denver Broncos.

Atlanta fans have had great cause for celebration in the early 2000's. Quarterback Michael Vick, described by many as the most exciting player in football, helped breathe new life into the team. A tremendous all-around athlete, Vick's incredible speed and power allowed him to consistently make jaw-dropping plays, and fans were streaming into the Georgia Dome in hoards to get a slice of the action. Unfortunately, Michael Vick had a bit of a run-in with the Law and him and the Falcons went their separate ways. Vick is now with the Philadelphia Eagles, and many Falcon fans wish him well to this day. Since his release from jail he's been making some great plays for the Philadelphia Eagles, but that is cold comfort for Falcons fans. Luckily, the team has been able to recover quickly and is now looking like a real threat in the NFL. TicketLiquidator always has slices lined up and ready at awesome prices.
