Beyonce’s latest album 4 dropped. Reviews ranged from good to lukewarm. 4 finds Beyonce channeling Prince, Adele and M.I.A. but there are no show stoppers along the lines of Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It). She did leave us with this gem of a video for Girls (Who Run the World). Keep an eye out for the hyenas. In other news, rumor has it that Beyonce may team up with Leonardo DiCaprio to star in Clint Eastwood’s latest film, a remake of A Star Is Born.

After Janelle’s mind-blowing performance at Glastonbury her sales shot up an astronomical 4928%. You can catch the 10-minute-long Come Alive (The War of The Roses) below (the album version is only three minutes and 22 seconds). Right around 5:20, everyone lies down on stage, including the dancers, the musicians and Monae who keeps singing while lying on her back. On Monday Radiohead released video of a live, in-studio performance of an unreleased song as a trailer for their forthcoming From the Basement sessions on BBC. The video featured the band’s first performance with a second drummer, Clive Deamer. By Thursday rumors were circulating about a surprise set at the Glastonbury music festival. On Friday the band performed tracks from their latest album The King of Limbs live at Glastonbury for the first time anywhere.
