Fans of The Black Keys’ 2008 Danger Mouse-produced Attack and Release are in for some thick, freaky good news. This week the band announced that they had finished their seventh as-yet-untitled studio album, once again under the influence of Danger Mouse. Singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach said that the album sounds more like Clash-inspired punk and garage rock than their trademark soul and is much faster than anything they’ve ever done.
