I never really used to listen to country music, but in the last couple years it began to grow on me, and now it’s practically the only station I listen to in the car. I’ve heard countless people describe it as a bunch of singing about “my tractor”, “my pickup truck” or “my dead dog”, but country music has definitely evolved from what it used to be. Nowadays, it seems to have more of a “pop” feel to it, relatable lyrics, and I can’t help but dance or sing along. It’s the perfect kind of warm weather, sitting outside in the summer, sipping on a beer kinda music.
Speaking of summer, tons of great country concerts are scheduled in the upcoming warm weather. And speaking of beer, Luke Bryan is one of them. How does beer relate to Luke Bryan? Well, one of his latest singles entitled “Drink a Beer” was released off of his album Crash My Party. You would think it’s a song about having a good time, but really, it’s a touching song that Luke Bryan wrote in honor of his brother and sister who had both passed away, reminiscing and having a drink in their honor. Luke Bryan is hot right now, with his single reaching No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart of January 2014, and No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart for February 2014. Other hits off of his album include “Crash My Party” and “That’s My Kind of Night”, which was deemed the name of his 2014 tour.

While I'm on the topic, his That’s My Kind of Night Tour has kicked off, with dozens of shows across the country now through October. Along the way, he is also releasing a new EP album this month, so keep a look out for that on March 11th. Luke Bryan is also included in the Country Mega Ticket®, along with other great country music artists such as Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Cole Swindell, and Lee Brice, just to name a few. It’s safe to say that I am completely psyched about flip flop, shandy, country concert weather, and can’t wait to see some of these great performers this summer! You don’t wanna miss out.
