Weekend Onsale Preview

February 23, 2012

Madonna Tour Dates

The queen bee, high priestess of pop music is back in her latest incarnation combining Marilyn Monroe, cheerleading, cheetah prints and motherhood as only Madonna can. Coming off a Super Bowl victory and the premiere of a movie she wrote and directed, on the cusp of a new album release, it's obvious that Madonna knows WTF she's doing. If her latest spectacles are any indication, the upcoming round of Madonna tour dates starting in August are going to be sick. Madonna has always pulled out all the stops on tour and this time around she's bringing her daughter Lourdes as a back up dancer, which means everybody's going to have to be at the top of their game. Madonna tickets for Atlantic City, Dallas, St. Paul, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Pittsburgh and Houston go on sale Monday.

Beach Boys Tour Dates

If you miss the Beach Boys at Bonnaroo you can still pick up Beach Boys tickets going on sale this Friday for one of 20 shows across the country celebrating their 50th anniversary! Brian Wilson has conquered all those pesky inner demons and is taking the old hits on the road to Beach Boys tour dates all across the country starting in March. The current Beach Boy line-up features Wilson along with Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks. Just to put things in perspective, without Pet Sounds there would be no Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band, and Wilson's early experimentation with layering sounds and vocal harmonies still resonates to this day.
